Barza Albă divin begins with a choice: the finest base wines from the region’s vineyards, under the Protected Geographical Indication IGP Divin — the official guarantee of origin. From there, through distillation, years in oak and the master’s hand, the character of the house is born: a matter of taste, patience and precision. Seven steps, in the same order for eight decades.
01 · The Vineyard
Where it all begins
Divin does not begin in the still, but in the vineyard. The region’s vineyards give the varieties from which the base wine is born — Aligoté, Fetească Albă, Rkatsiteli — under the Protected Geographical Indication IGP Divin. Without the vineyard, the other six steps would have nothing to start from.

02 · The Harvest
The year is read in the cluster
The grapes are picked at the right moment, not the convenient one. Each year leaves its mark in acidity and aroma, and the character of the harvest decides what the distillate may become decades later. This is where patience starts to cost.

03 · Processing
The choice, year after year
The harvest becomes the base wine: dry, clean, without artifice — because whatever is added now will still be felt twenty years on. We select by the character of the harvest, year after year, with discernment. The first decision of a divin is a decision of taste.
04 · Distillation
The heart of the craft
In the stills, wine becomes wine distillate — the young spirit that will become divin. Here finesse is decided: what is kept, what is set aside. A precise gesture, repeated for eight decades.
05 · Ageing
Time, in oak barrels
Years in the halls and cellars of Bălți. Oak gives colour, depth and roundness. Every barrel carries a number and a volume — a record of patience kept by generations of masters.

06 · The Blend
The master’s hand
From dozens of distillates of different ages, the master blender assembles the balance of each edition — by nose and palate, session after session, until the right chord falls into place.
More than a recipe: a signature — the memory of a whole house, distilled into a single glass.

07 · The Taste
The last gesture, before the glass
The mature divin passes to the bottling line and is filled with care. From here, with the stork on the label, it sets off beyond the borders — towards the table where it will be opened. There the circle closes: the seven steps come together in a single sip.

The craft does not hurry. Neither do we.
Seven steps, the same order, the same attention — from the first harvest in 1944 to the barrel laid down today. It’s the only way we know how to make divin.
